The Institution of Civil Engineers Society (ICES) and the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) have signed an agreement on June 10, 2024. This agreement grants NCVET recognition to ICES as an awarding body under the standard framework. As a result, ICES is now authorized to award and certify learners who receive training directly from ICES. This training can take place at campuses or training centers that are either owned or fully managed by ICES for its approved or adopted qualifications. This recognition enhances ICES’s ability to contribute to vocational education by ensuring that the qualifications and certifications they provide are officially acknowledged and meet national standards.
